Southern Nicaragua boasts warm water,great waves, consistent offshores and uncrowded beaches due to the fact that many of the surf spots here are boat access only. this place is (thankfully) nothing like costa rica.

Most beaches you pull up to are deserted. more often than not you'll be riding alone with a handful of other surfers the locals are friendly and spanish is the preferred spoken language.

SCUBASHACK is located right on the beach in San Juan Del Sur nicaragua,in the building which used to be RICARDO'S BAR. In our spacious laidback environment you can lounge while looking over the bay,rent a board and hop a boat to whichever surf spots are rockin' that day, watch surfing vid's and use the internet.

The breaks surrounding San Juan Del Sur  range from beginner beachbreaks to intermediate barrelling left and rights to expert outer reef.Ssome of the main spots we ride in the areas surrounding SJDS are
